Pilates is an exercise system that focuses on learning how to properly engage the abdominals and core musculature. This core strength is essential for all kinds of movement, ranging from everyday activities to complex athletic movements. People practice Pilates for a variety of reasons, ranging from reduction of pain caused by faulty alignment, to getting a balanced and effective workout. Pilates creates recognizable physical change, and will leave you feeling mentally and physically relaxed and rejuvenated. We are dedicated to teaching our students a deeper understanding of their bodies. We teach our students to use their minds to create deep physical changes in their bodies.

Heather has 7 years of experience in Pilates. She is certified in Pilates Matwork and Standing Pilates through the Pilates Physicalmind Institute, NY, and has been trained in reformer pilates equipment through Balanced Body University. She has taught many classes around the Portland area, and is now offering private sessions!
